Yamaha
The roots of the Yamaha Motor Company go back to 1887, when Torakusu Yamaha founded a company to manufacture musical instruments. This developed into the joint stock company Nippon Gakki (literally „Japan Musical Instruments“) in 1897 and later into the Yamaha Corporation. Yamaha's original business field is still commemorated today by the Yamaha Motor company logo with the three tuning forks, which originates from the Yamaha Corporation logo.
