Bitubo Rear Shock Absorber

Bitubo offers its pair of WMT22V2 shock absorbers in a sleek "Dark Edition" version. The pair of WMT22V2 shock absorbers provides a remarkable overall improvement in vehicle control, thanks in part to the refined tuning options made possible by the numerous available settings, as well as the option to be delivered with a specific calibration based on the driver's weight and intended use.

With the WMT22V2, Bitubo introduces an innovative hydraulic preload adjustment system by equipping all pairs of shock absorbers in the top-of-the-line WMT series with a highly compact adjustment device that allows the spring preload to be adjusted without having to adjust the adjustment rings. Spring preload is controlled by the hydraulic preload mechanism, which can be operated manually or with a standard Allen wrench. It is possible (as an option) to purchase a very practical and compact control unit to quickly make all necessary adjustments.

The shock absorber body and piston rod are made of high-strength alloy steel, while the springs are made of Cr-Si alloy steel and are black to complete the all-black look. Each shock absorber is equipped with a separate nitrogen-filled reservoir and caps made from a special aluminum alloy and solidly CNC-machined. Also available are the WMTA2V2 versions with a longer wheelbase and hydraulic spring preload, as well as the WMT82V2 with a shorter, adjustable wheelbase and hydraulic spring preload.
