Made of aluminum and CNC-machined from a single piece, it protects the engine in the event of a crash. During a crash, the motorcycle usually continues to slide across the asphalt, grinding down the expensive original engine covers and potentially causing oil leaks. Dirt and debris can also enter the engine and damage it.
