Replaces the original flange 1:1 and no modifications are necessary.
An axle nut, as well as a set of flange nuts in various colors, can optionally be ordered. Both the axle nut and the nut set for the sprocket flange replace the original nuts 1:1 and are tightened accordingly with the same torque.
