The kickstand extension gives the bike improved stability on both hard and soft surfaces. The foot of the stand is widened by twice, so falls of the bike are prevented by sinking of the stand.

The widening consists of two parts. One half is made of stainless steel, the other of aluminum which was milled from a block and then anodized. This ensures high resistance and low weight at the same time.

The stand can be folded without restrictions.

Depending on the chassis, different stands are used on the R 1250 GS. So that the respective stand also receives the appropriate widening, the corresponding installed chassis can be selected.
