Bitubo Rear Shock Absorber

MODERN TECHNOLOGY AND PERFORMANCE thanks to the innovations introduced in this shock absorber, which was developed for motorcycles with long-travel rear suspension. The passion and meticulous attention to detail of our R&D engineers allow us to offer this new, advanced shock absorber, which delivers cutting-edge technology and performance. The code "11" indicates the red spring (for the sportiest models), while the code "12" indicates the black spring (for the most classic models). Spring adjustment is achieved via the hydraulic preload, which can be operated manually or with a 14-mm hex wrench. Used on all BMW shock absorbers equipped with hydraulic preload. This handle features an ergonomic design with three tabs that make adjustment easy without the need for tools. Available as an aftermarket replacement part, it can be installed on all hydraulic preload monoshock absorbers from the XXF-CLU-CYU and XZE series produced since 2009. The reservoir is separate from the body for better fluid cooling and greater flexibility in mounting position. It is connected by a flexible hose braided to withstand very high pressure, which improves shock absorber response and enhances grip and comfort.
