Footrest System

Highest quality, as only the best raw materials on the market are used. Up to 9 different foot positions are possible, and the distance between the brake and clutch pedals is adjustable. Additionally, the footrests are available in a wide variety of colors. A shift linkage is also included in the package.

The footrest system is delivered with documentation for registration with the Motor Vehicle Inspection Authority (MFK). The footrest system must be presented to the Motor Vehicle Inspection (MFK) for legal street use and entered into the vehicle registration certificate. To do this, call the MFK to schedule an appointment for the registration of the footrest system. Take the vehicle to the MFK with the footrests already installed and the documents we have issued.

The footrests can be used for standard or reverse shifting. What does reverse shifting mean? The shift lever is pushed up for first gear and then down for each subsequent gear. Essentially, it is the exact opposite of standard shifting. This method is particularly preferred on the racetrack and in professional racing, as it makes shifting in corners easier.

Bonamici is a supplier to WorldSBK, WorldSSP, BSB, and CIV (BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team, Honda Racing Corporation, GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team, Motoxracing, Paul Bird Motorsport, Synetiq BMW Motorrad, Althea Racing) and other racing teams. In addition, the footrests are installed and used 1:1 in the WSBK by the racers.

For the footrest system on the R3, the brake light switch must be modified and the brake must be bled. The new brake light switch is included.
