Brake disk rear wheel racing

The lightweight brake disk offers two decisive advantages over original brake disks. The weight of the rotating mass of the rear wheel is significantly reduced and the smaller contact surface increases controllability on the race track.

When braking, the weight of racing motorcycles presses very heavily on the front wheel, the rear wheel becomes very light and often starts to wobble. If you apply the rear brake with the original brake disk, the rear wheel locks immediately or the ABS kicks in, making controlled braking impossible. With this brake disk, it is easier to use the rear brake and catch the corner entry better.

For these two reasons, less weight and improved control, we recommend the use of lighter brake disks. The brake discs are for racetrack use and are not street legal.
