Intact Lithium Battery
The cheapest and easiest way to save the most weight is by replacing the battery. Another advantage is the much lower self-discharge rate and more consistent starting current of a lithium battery. If you don't ride very often or only hit the track a few times a year, you probably don't want to be plugging in the battery all the time. Intact is well-known in the racing world for its own Moto2 team, where Dominique Aegerter competes in MotoE.
The optimal charger for these batteries can be ordered along with them. Please note that not every charger is capable of charging lithium batteries.
The 48 Wh capacity is generally sufficient for the recommended motorcycle, but it is possible to install a battery with a higher capacity; all three batteries are exactly the same size.
